Four white paws, white chest and a spiky stickyout white bristly moustache. For a little furry thing he was fearless, into everthing and cheeky. Henry he decided was his mother and sibling playmate. When he was let out for the first time he hissed and spat hair all at attention when he saw his mum out too. He soon realised and I think gained massive street cred with the other cats around when they clocked Sebastians bro’. When he had his snip the vet said he would probably sleep for hours and not eat – instead he went mad, shooting around the house like he was on crack and ate six sachets of kitten felix in jelly.

He would announce his arrival home after nites on the town with a piercing meow and demands to be fed. Because of Henry his food was kept up on a shelf in the room off the kitchen. He would jump up and sit by his empty bowl staring at me with beady eyes almost tapping his foot with impatience, moustache a-bristle as if to say “come on dude… feed me!” Took him a good two months to realise he didn’t need to hurl himself through the cat-flap to use the cat litter.

The whole close took notice when he went out because he would brazenly enter everyones house (8 houses) and make himself at home, better still if their was an incumbent cat whose food he’d calmly eat. At the end house was  his best friend Sam similar to himself black and white but bigger. He’d go and play with Sam in his home for hours.

But the Friday of the storms he didn,t come home. Wednesday after he was found by the side of a busy road stiff as a board. He’d tried to come home and been hit by a car. His friends miss him, Henry misses him, I miss him. He was such a character. Full of joy and life and mischief. There’s a massive hole. Goodbye Sebastian and rest in peace.
